Description

This is my original character, Lemur the experiment

Name/Nickname: Lemur / Experiment 202
Species: Genetically modified hybrid [marten x katta lemur]
Age: about 7 years old
Gender: male
Height: 4,6 ft. = 1.40 m. [not counting tail lenght]
Weight: 28 kg. = about 62 lbs

Personality: Lazy, sly creature who lives his life for entertainment and usually gets irritated when things does not go the way he would want to. Kinda sheltered in his life in lab, he is also naive and [yet] unconscious of the dangers which may wait for him. All he wants to have a simple, and at the same time entertaining life. Lemur enjoys showing off just to feel appreciated by humans [these who raised him in the lab] and he subconsciously wants to prove he is better than other experiments he knew in his lab life. He enjoys challenges, but also can easily give up if he sees something overcoming his abilities, rather than trying so hard that he could get hurt. Dislikes changes, even if he can habituate quite easily, he won't miss the chance to make drama over them. Unfortunately, he is also highly curious, which often lead him into uncomfortable situations.

Advantages:
- High inteligence. could actually equal human brain. Lemur is a cunning creature, is capable of thinking up advanced strategies or building complicated mechanisms. He also is observant and learns fast.
- Agility and flexibility of body. He is naturally built to climb, jump on large distances and keeping balance isn't a problem for him, with his prehensile limbs and tail. He is also somewhat light for his size and have hard bones, so falling off from high places doesn't injury him, even if it may hurt.
- Natural immunity to most of ilnesses and poisons

Disadvantages:
- Physically weak. Lemur is not the one to carry heavy objects with one hand. He's also bad in close-combat, not really capable of performing powerful kicks or punches. even his jaw is quite weak, so biting is also useless in battle.
- Lazy. If he does something, it surely is either entertaining for him, or a basic necessity. Otherwise, why should he bother?
-Instinctual. Being animal, he easily gets distracted by silly things like food, smells, shiny/strange shaped objects. Also he is kinda naive, as he never met truly hostile creatures in his life in sciencific lab.
-Weak hearing. Basically, he is half deaf. If you want to communicate with him, you have to speak very loud.

Special powers:
He can make very loud ear-hurting screeching sound which [depending on target's individual hearing sensibility] can cause headaches, immobilize, or even make the target loose consciousness. Unfortunately, making such sounds hurts his throat, if he uses the sound too often or keeps it up for too long, it may cause internal bleeding, or in extreme case, make him premamently loose ability to make any sounds.

Fighting style:
Lemur does not like fighting. Absolutely not. It can only lead to injuries and pain, not to mention fights [by his opinion] are not funny at all. If he really have to defeat someone, he'd rather use complicated system of traps to do it, and watch the show from high or well hidden place

Backstory:
Lemur was born and raised in the genetic laboratory, where humans were trying to create animal agents, who would work for them in conditions in which normal people couldn't succeed without expensive equipment. He was one of first 300 experiments, which often came out either genetically flawed, or not really useful. Of course there were exeptions. Few experiments, including Lemur himself, were more than capable of doing missions they were created for. Unfortunately, when some of his "siblings" were hired by humans to go on "interesting" missions, Lemur was locked away with failures. He was told that he didn't meet the requirments to be an animal agent, though the reason for it was completely different. In fact, Lemur overcome his creators' expectations when it came to deductive abilities and logical thinking, and even though he [as well as the rest of experiments] adored humans who created him, and wasn't showing any hostile or rebellious tendencies, he was deemed as potentially dangerous - such an intelligent creature could potentially discredit the authority of human race and betray them.

He lived his life in the cage, treated mostly as pet for good few years, but eventually he got extremely bored and developed a habit of trying to run away from the cage whenever he had a chance. When he never had an intention to leave the laboratory, sitting in cage was simply boring, so running away and messing with his caretakers were his ways to have some fun...
